WHAT IS DAY HABILITATION? HOW IS DAY HAB DIFFERENT? Most day programs provide activities for participants on site and remain in the building all day. Day Hab, however, is a community based service that encourages integration into local neighborhoods to learn functional skills for the future. It is an exciting and challenging new prospect. WHO IS ELIGIBLE FOR DAY HABILITATION? Day Habilitation provides services to persons with developmental disabilitiesover the age of 18, who are Medicaid eligible. WHAT TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES DOES DAY HABILITATION OFFER? * COMMUNITY INTEGRATION SKILLS -restaurants *INDEPENDENT LIVING SKILLS -personal care/hygiene *SOCIAL SKILLS -interactive activities/games *COMMUNITY VOLUNTEER SITES WHAT ARE DAY HABILITATION'S HOURS OF OPERATION? Day Habilitation is in operation 12 months a year and five days per week. Monday - Thursday 9am to 3pm Fridays 9am to 1pm WHERE IS DAY HABILITATION? Hasc's Day Hab program is located at 1221 East 14th Street. HOW WILL MY CHILD GET TO DAY HABILITATION?
